Managing and supporting the core IT infrastructure across the organization with a strong focus on server administration, firewall management, and network architecture.
Oversee the health, stability, and performance of servers, storage systems, and network infrastructure.
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls and network security appliances.
Implement access controls, monitor intrusion attempts, and ensure secure connectivity across all locations.
Provide technical support to both in-office and remote users.
Troubleshoot problems related to hardware, operating systems, software, and network connectivity.
Perform patching, backup routines, disaster recovery testing, and capacity planning.
Lead infrastructure upgrades and support system migrations to ensure minimal downtime.
Maintain accurate inventory records of all IT assets.
Participate in IT infrastructure planning and execution for organizational projects.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver scalable and resilient network solutions.
Maintain up-to-date documentation on configurations, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
Provide detailed reports on infrastructure performance and incident trends.
Support VoIP systems, video conferencing tools, and audio-visual setups.
Standby for on-call support after office hours as and when required.
Job Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure support or a similar role.
Hands-on experience with in managing enterprise-level servers, network infrastructure, and firewalls.
Experience in Microsoft Windows Server and Vmware server 2ND level support and troubleshooting.
Additional certification in Microsoft, Vmware or similar technologies is a plus.
Ability to multi-task, take initiative and work independently with multiple stakeholders
Good understanding and experience with network and Wireless LAN (WLAN) infrastructure.
Hands-on experience in configuring network, as well as troubleshooting and resolving network problems, including firewall configuration and troubleshooting.
Experience with network security and compliance with appropriate security configuration standards.
Experience in IT asset management and inventory control.
Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Ability to provide both on-site and remote support, with good communication skills to liaise with non-technical staff.
Ability to follow system standards, create and maintain comprehensive documentation and network diagrams.
