KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Strategically drive business growth by focusing on adding significant value and maintaining a competitive edge.
• Understand and optimise key value drivers of business and financial performance to foster value creation and operational excellence.
• Co-lead in the business planning process, ensuring a clear understanding of the lifecycle outlook and aligning with performance targets. Contribute to the delivery of credible plans and forecasts.
• Ensure the organisation\'s compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
• Proactively provide support in addressing commercial challenges, conducting basic commercial analysis, and contributing to effective solutions.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of consistency and best practices for management to negotiate commercial terms and conditions.
• Proactively exploring growth opportunities, such as new ventures and acquisitions.
• Provide proactive assistance in special projects or assignments as required, gaining exposure to various aspects of business operations.

• Time Management: Time management skills in a fast-paced environment, able to meet deadlines, prioritise tasks, and assist with multiple projects.

• Negotiation and Contract Management: Gain exposure to negotiation and contract management skills, supporting more experienced team members in dealing with deals, contracts, and agreements.

QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:

• A degree in Engineering, Law, Accounting or Economics is preferred, although other degrees will be considered.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of industry experience, preferably in the utilities/energy or resources business.
• Knowledgeable in the understanding of regulated businesses from commercial and regulatory viewpoints.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Specific skills and knowledge related to the job\'s technical aspects, such as commercial analysis, negotiation, business planning, compliance, and best practices in negotiations.

BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS:

• Personal qualities and attributes necessary for effective performance in the role, including a proactive approach, assertiveness, time management, self-motivation, interpersonal skills, and cultural adaptability.
