KEY ACCOUNTABILITES:
1. Perform thorough review of value levers to develop and implement competitive category and / or sourcing strategies.
2. Identify and deal with the potential risks associated with category and / or sourcing strategies
3. Apply procurement governance and procedures that regulate the sourcing process.
4. Conducts effective discussions with key internal stakeholders to develop the business case and agree on the way forward.
5. Actively support and / or participate in the process of procurement and negotiation with Vendors and stakeholders.
6. Shares information and insights, such as market surveys, supply base details, procurement initiatives & challenges and market intelligence, with other procurement units and external parties
7. Undertake other jobs such as Departmental initiatives and proposals as may be directed.

QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Business Management or related fields, with at least 6-8 years of experience.

THINKING ENVIRONMENT & CHALLENGES:

• Commercial mindset, be able to translate the procurement value levers and analyze factors driving demand and costs.
• Demonstrates the ability to review key value drivers within the supply chain, encompassing factors such as demand, specifications, prices, vendor resources, and market trends.
• A thorough understanding of the business landscape, including awareness of the supply base and alternatives, as well as proficiency in supply chain dynamics and risk management.
• Proficient in evaluating sourcing alternatives and dealing with key risks with the sourcing strategies.
• Capable of fostering collaboration across business units and effectively overseeing
