SENIOR EXECUTIVE, NETWORK SERVICES

JOB PURPOSES

• Network security: Responsible for ensuring that the organization\'s network is secure and protected from external threats. This includes implementing security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs.
• Network maintenance and troubleshooting: Responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the organization\'s network infrastructure. This includes monitoring network performance, identifying and resolving network issues, and performing network upgrades and maintenance.
• Network monitoring and reporting: Responsible for monitoring network performance and providing regular reports to senior management on network availability, performance, and capacity.
• Network team management: Responsible for managing a team of network engineers, providing guidance and mentorship to team members, and ensuring that team members have the skills and resources needed to perform their jobs effectively.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze, plan, propose, and implement Network and telecommunications strategic initiatives which add value to company core business activities, especially in company Operations. These initiatives should be able to improve project team productivity and cost savings that contribute to better project profitability.
• Plan and lead the implementation of approved ICT Network initiative/project which includes pre-planning activities, detailed project scoping, project management (resource deployment, budget monitoring, issue & change order resolution, risk management, project charter, and project tracking & reporting), project development lifecycle phases (analysis, design, construction, implementation, post-implementation review, and project closure report) and setting up of Project Management Office to support Group business objectives and initiatives.
• Participate or lead ICT Projects tender proposals including technical evaluation, project budget, and negotiation exercise to be in line with tender & contract policies and procedures. Construct detailed project specifications and lead the execution process.
• Advise, recommend, and comply to all policies, procedures and technical standards to ensure efficient & effective implementation and operations of ICT department.
• Responsible and manage all ICT requests, incidents and problems reported and initiate proactive measures by working with the relevant parties such as vendors, ICT Application, ICT Infrastructure and PMO teams and Key Process Owners in resolving the issue and supporting business expectations.

REQUIREMENT

• Diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology or a technology-related field.
• Minimum 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in an ICT. Computer Network certification will be added advantage.
