Job Description


Job Purpose

Under the general guidance and supervision of the Manager, Operations, the Executive will assist in overseeing and responsible for the overall operation of the Sports Operation in compliance with established policies & procedures and the quality system specified in ISO.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage all bookings for golf and sports including bookings schedule, pricing management, event setup and reporting.
  • Supervision of all staff assigned to him under the Sports department including contract workers.
  • Manage club assets under the responsibilities of Sports department which covers the maintenance, upkeep and utilization. i.e buggies, walkie-talkie, range system, gym equipment and other related assets. This includes managing vendors performance and deliverables.
  • Plan and implement the training program for all Sports employees including contract workers which covers customer service training and operational training.
  • Prepare and monitor the performance of the P&L monthly budget and annually for the Sports department which includes generating revenue and cost saving.
  • Manage Sports booking system which include maintenance, time setup, pricing setup and report setup.
  • Manage club and corporate events including proposal, planning, emceeing and executing.
Job Responsibilities (Con\'t)
  • Prepare monthly and annual diary of fixtures for the Sports department.
  • Monitor the staff day to day operation in line with the approved SOP in providing the best services for member and guest. This includes organizing a daily briefing and weekly meeting.
  • To prepare operation performance report including utilization, statistic, financial and comments.
  • To approved duty roster prepared by supervisor and ensure staff efficiency with minimal overtime.
  • To manage, monitor, and check all related with the Sports department in HROC & Deputy system.
  • To manage, monitor, and check all related with the Sports department for all contract staff under HRFirst.
  • To assist in preparing and reviewing competency profiles and work procedures.
  • To conduct regular performance appraisals and goal setting for employees.
  • Attend enquires and complaints for members and relay messages to Line Manager.
  • Assist communication in disseminating related notices to members.

  • To ensure all department\'s policies & activities are implemented according to QESH system.
  • To assist Line Manager in monthly reporting, presentation and approval paper.
  • Undertake any other related assignments that may be given to him by the Line Manager.

Impact / Accountability
  • Assist the Manager, Operations to realize all financial adjective as set out in the approved annual budget and annual functional area plans.
  • To contribute ideas to increase revenue and profit generation of functional areas and encourage greater utilization of the golf course and its immediate facilities.
Education/Professional Qualification

Min Diploma for Sports Management or similar.
