Job TitleSenior Executive, Technical Vendor Management (Powerplants)Reports ToManager, Contracts & WarrantyRole PurposeDrive savings and value creation within the spend category. Provide comprehensive support in the sourcing process, including supplier management, RFX, and negotiations. Build long-term supplier partnerships for continuous improvement. Collaborate with Group Procurement on annual sourcing strategies, ensuring effective implementation and risk management.Key Accountability * Collaborate closely with Group Procurement and Tech Services to enhance Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Provide strategic support in developing and executing sourcing strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering strong stakeholder relationships.

  • Provide relevant information for annual spending across suppliers and budgets, helping to identify and prioritize key areas for cost improvements.
  • Understand the cost drivers within assigned spend categories (Powerplants) and leverage these insights to craft effective negotiation and cost management strategies. Perform thorough market analysis to keep abreast of supplier trends, innovations, and shifts, ensuring strategies remain competitive and aligned with industry advancements.
  • Proactively able to search/ qualify suppliers for initiatives, wherever applicable and to perform financial analysis of contract proposals to identify value
  • Evaluate vendor and contract issues, identify potential risks, and recommend effective mitigation strategies. Communicate complex information clearly to stakeholders, ensuring informed decision-making and alignment across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable policies and procedures, maintaining the highest standards of the Code of Conduct and Ethics in all supplier interactions.
Qualifications & Working ExperienceDegree in any field with 5 years of working experience and track record in Purchasing/ procurement, including relevant industry experience in aviation and category (Powerplants).Skills & Knowledge * Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Passion for reducing costs.
  • Good planning/project management skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills & strong Power BI/ Excel skills.
Key Challenges * Meeting savings and value targets while balancing strategic goals.
  • Handling the entire sourcing process, including supplier management and negotiations.
  • Developing and maintaining long-term supplier relationships.
  • Working with Group Procurement to implement strategies and manage associated risks.
