ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: \xc2\xb7 Responsible on all spectrum of the general accounting and finance functions. \xc2\xb7 Review monthly and quarterly financial statements to ensure those are prepared accurately and timely with strict adherence and compliance to financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements. \xc2\xb7 Improve existing financial report preparation processes to improve efficiencies of the department. \xc2\xb7 Design effective implementation of accounting systems, internal controls and other administrative policies to improve the management information system, reporting standard and expenditure controls of the organization. \xc2\xb7 Review monthly and quarterly financial statements to ensure those are prepared accurately and timely with strict adherence and compliance to financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements. \xc2\xb7 Review tax computation and perform taxation planning inclusive of tax estimation, tax incentives and other related tax matters such as transfer pricing and indirect taxes including SST exemption knowledge. \xc2\xb7 Establish budgetary control processes such as budgeting, forecasting and cash flow projections to facilitate decision making of operational management. \xc2\xb7 Liaise with auditors, tax agents, financial institutions and government bodies to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance on related matters. \xc2\xb7 Carry out all other ad-hoc duties as may be assigned from time-to-time by the Management/Group Finance Director. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: \xc2\xb7 Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Accounting and Finance recognized by Malaysian Institute of Accountant (MIA) or professional qualification such as MICPA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA/ICAEW or equivalent \xc2\xb7 At least 5 year(s) of working experience specialized in Accounting and Finance is required for this position. \xc2\xb7 Prior working experience in statutory audit and taxation would be an added advantage. \xc2\xb7 Responsible for timely preparation of financial reporting. \xc2\xb7 Be an analytical thinker with strong investigative and problem-solving skills. \xc2\xb7 Outstanding attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. \xc2\xb7 Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. \xc2\xb7 Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
