• Monthly Financial Closing: Prepare and ensure timely and accurate submission of accounting entries while maintaining the integrity of financial data of international entities.
• Financial Reporting: Ensure all financial data is captured in accordance with accounting standards, internal control guidelines and company policies, maintaining audit readiness.
• Business Reporting: Liaise with cross department in relation to business performance monitoring and analysis
• Leadership: Lead, mentor and train junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
• Audit Involvement: Actively participate in external audit processes by gathering and providing necessary financial information and documentation as requested.
• Cash Flow Projection: Monitor and track cash flow position on monthly basis in ensuring the business is informed of its liquidity position.
• Daily Operation: Liaise with stakeholders regarding operational payment, preventing any disruption in supply that could affect operational continuity.
• Process Enhancements: Identify inefficiencies in financial workflows and propose process improvement initiatives to streamline operations.
• Ad-hoc Analysis and Reporting: Perform ad-hoc task or special project as needed

What we're looking for:

• Highly Valued Background: Big 10 audit firm and commercial experience in a public listed company is highly preferable.
• Working Experience : At least 3 years financial accounting or audit experience, preferably in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any professional or finance equivalent. Preferably with certification of ICAEW/ACCA/CPA/MIA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Work Environment: Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
• Characteristics: Committed, dedicated, self-motivated, and proactive with a strategic and hands-on approach.
• Skill: Possess high potential, strong technical and interpersonal skills. Good understanding of accounting principles (IFRS, GAAP etc).
