Job Description

As a Senior Finance Executive, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the day-to-day financial operations and accounting functions for Irkaz Group of companies, ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with accounting standards, and timely reporting.

Job Requirements



Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Business Admin, or related 3-5 years' relevant experience Proficient in accounting systems (SQL preferred) Immediate starter is an advantage

Key Responsibilities



Financial Management:



Assist in daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities across the Group. Implement and monitor financial and accounting procedures to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with policies and regulations. Stay updated on industry best practices and ensure compliance with applicable financial standards and statutory requirements.

Accounting:



Prepare company and group accounts for cost analysis and revenue management. Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and reports. Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts - stock, payables, receivables, and bank reports. Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure optimal utilization of financial resources. Act as the key liaison with external auditors during audits.

Budgeting and Forecasting:



Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets and forecasts in alignment with business plans. Implement cost controls and promote prudent spending across the organization.

Tax Compliance:



Prepare tax filings, financial schedules, and manage depreciation and accruals. Execute month-end closings and generate month-end and general financial reports. Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and reporting requirements.

Accounts Payable & Receivable Management:



Oversee accounts payable processes, including invoice verification, purchase order and delivery order matching, and timely vendor payments. Manage accounts receivable to support efficient cash flow and minimise credit risks. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions.

Bank and Financial Relationship Management:



Maintain strong working relationships with banks and other financial institutions. Oversee bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies. Support treasury functions, including cash flow planning and funding requirements.
Assist in any other ad-hoc assignments as and when required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
