Job Description

Prepare and analyse consolidated financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Prepare and review Bursa Malaysia announcements on quarterly financial results and other material disclosures. Review monthly closing activities, including journals and transactions prepared by subordinates. Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and annual budgets. Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the finance department. Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and relevant stakeholders to ensure timely completion of year-end closing and statutory reporting. Coordinate with subsidiaries' finance teams on payment arrangements, banking matters, and intercompany transactions. Handle bookkeeping and payment functions for some private companies, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Undertake any other ad-hoc assignments as required by Management/Directors.

Requirements

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent) is an added advantage. At least

5 years of working experience

in finance or accounting, preferably in a group or listed company environment. Strong understanding of

financial reporting, consolidation, and MFRS/IFRS standards

. Experience in

monthly closing, budgeting, and forecasting

.

Familiar with Bursa Malaysia reporting and statutory compliance is required.

Good exposure in liaising with

auditors, tax agents, and external parties

. Able to handle

intercompany transactions, payment arrangements, and banking matters

. Proficient in

Microsoft Excel and accounting systems

(e.g., SQL, SAP, or similar). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with good attention to detail. A proactive team player who can also work independently and lead a small team. Responsible, organised, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
