Responsibilities:

Responsible for the month end closing within the stipulated deadline.
Prepare a full set of accounts \xe2\x80\x93 AR, AP, GL, Bank Reconciliation, etc.
Prepare accounting-related reports, summaries and reconciliation.
Responsible for statutory accounts, audit and tax compliances as well as company secretarial matters.
Prepare Sales and Services Tax (\xe2\x80\x9cSST\xe2\x80\x9d) returns, be the liaison person for SST issues
Maintain digital and physical financial records.
Monthly payroll, claim, commission processing, including all statutory contribution for the local and regional team (Malaysia and Indonesia)
Run errands related to government agencies, banks, company secretaries, tax agents, auditors
Maximize government\'s incentives (ie. Penjana), grants, loan opportunities
Other assignments to be assigned on an ad-hoc basis.

Must possess a Diploma or Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Accounting and Finance, or equivalent accreditation
At least 3 year of hands-on experience in the financial / accounting field
Must have basic knowledge in or the willingness to learn about bank loans, corporate and government tax matters, and company insurance
Familiar with SQL Accounting software
Able to work independently with minimum supervision
Self-motivated and strong analytical skills
Organized, Independent and a problem-solver
