(Senior) Finance Manager (Malaysians Only) - Location: Johor Bahru - A Leading Public-Listed Property Development Group (HQ in Petaling Jaya) - Salary: RM12,000 - RM16,000 per month (depending on experience) - Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Company

Our client is a public-listed property development group with a strong presence in large-scale infrastructure and real estate projects, including the Railway Transit System (RTS). The company is expanding its operations in the Southern Region and is seeking an experienced (Senior) Finance Manager to lead its finance team in Johor Bahru.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage a Finance team of 3 staff supporting the Southern Region.

- Oversee Financial Planning & Analysis, Finance Business Partnering (e.g. land acquisition), budgeting and forecasting activities.

- Manage financial audits, taxation, and cash flow planning.

- Act as a strategic finance partner to support key business decisions and project developments.

- Ensure compliance with financial standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.

- Coordinate with the Shared Services Finance Team based in Petaling Jaya for day-to-day accounting functions.

- Prepare and present management reports, analysis, and financial recommendations to leadership.

Requirements

- Malaysians Only

- Minimum 8-12 years of relevant finance experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.

- Proven track record in real estate development, construction, or related industries.

- Strong background in financial planning, budgeting, taxation, and cash flow management.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

- Ability to partner with business leaders and support decision-making.

- High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Education

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.- -

Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or MICPA is preferred.

- Member of MIA (Malaysian Institute of Accountants) is an advantage.
