The Tun Razak Exchange is a development poised to be Malaysia\xe2\x80\x99s new international business and financial district. At the heart of this urban transformation is The Exchange TRX, a city defining development designed to create the ultimate experiential environment, from retail to dining, entertainment and world class hotels.

The Exchange TRX is a 17-acre integrated development set to become one of Asia\xe2\x80\x99s leading lifestyle hubs. The mall is a 1.3 million sq ft of next-generation retail space will include a 10-acre rooftop park.

We are looking to build our mall finance operations team and would like to invite aspiring individuals to apply for the following role as Senior Finance Manager

A full-fledged financial control role covering full spectrum of finance and accounting function taking care of Lendlease\xe2\x80\x99s - Retail Asset Finance operations. The Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for financial and management reporting and will work quite closely with the Mall Operations Team, Regional Finance Team, Investment Management team and multiple other stakeholders. The job scope includes:

Overall accountability for treasury matters related to the Asset.

Ensure debt/ICR covenants are met.

Planning and implementation of forecasting and budgeting, internal controls, and tax structuring

Handling tax and audit matters of the entity to ensure compliance and adherence to statutory and regulatory compliance.

Need to work closely with the accountants to ensure that the GL is updated as appropriate.

Provide the Centre Management Office with journal entries relating to finance costs and other expenses.

Ensure the accounting records maintained in the Yardi system is up to date.

Prepares the quarterly financial reporting package including net asset value analysis.

Ensure half year and annual financials are reported in time for Lendlease half year and annual financial reporting.

Provide quarterly updates to the Lendlease service providers for their monthly management reporting.

Provide coaching and support to other direct reports to develop finance capability.

Requirements:

An accounting graduate with ACCA or CPA or MIA or similar professional qualification.

8-10 years of similar work experience in a supervisory capacity.

Preference for background in retail operations and with experience using Yardi system.

Good knowledge of GST and Corporate Tax

Good knowledge in FRS, Tax, and other regulatory requirements

Strong attitude to learn and work as a team.
