Job Responsibilities To ensure strict adherence of Group policies and procedures in respect of financial operations, management programmes and activities as well as to formulae any new or more stringent policies / procedure to achieve growth and profitability of the Company; To plan and control the financial and management accounting system of the Company; To be responsible for all financial, accounting, treasury activities of the Company and to establish control procedures to improve accounting and reporting; To plan and manage the Company\'s tax affairs in the most efficient manner; To establish, develop and maintain a disciplined, well-trained and highly motivated Finance & Treasury staffs to meet the objectives of the Company; To critically analyse financial and accounting information, cash flow projections and budget and credit control and reporting those findings to the Management; To prepare and present timely financial and management reports to Ipoh office for consolidation and to review and improve on entity\'s reporting format; To analyse the financial implications of various operational decisions, new business and acquisitions; To ensure that all activities related to the functions of F&T complying with relevant Acts, legal requirements and ethical standards, and to ensure that statutory accounts are prepared in accordance with FRS/IFRS/recognised accounting practices and liaising with external auditors; To liaise with banks and negotiate and arrange for long and short-term facilities, and at the same time maintain cordial long-term relationship with such banks; and Perform any other duties or responsibilities that are assigned from time to time by his/her superiors. Qualifications & Experience Possess membership of recognised professional bodies of Accountants and MIA membership; and At least 7-10 years of post qualifying experience in financial and management accounting. Skills Knowledge in financial & management accounting, preparation of annual budget & cash flow forecasting, company tax & financial analysis; At least 6 years of financial & management accounting experience. Preferable with 3 years experience in Big Four auditing firms; Well versed with FRS/IFRS; Possses good leadership & management skills; and Posses good interpersonal and communication skills.
