Japanese company in Malaysia Senior Finance Manager Location: Seksyen U1, Shah Alam Salary: RM 13,000 - RM 17,000 Job Type: Permanent; Full Time WORKING HOURS: Monday To Friday : 8:30am - 5:30pm JOB SCOPE: Responsible to ensure that monthly closing of accounts is on time; Responsible for monthly financial reporting, statutory reporting and any ad-hoc reporting tothe management and the Regional Office/s; To provide information requested by Management for decision making; Ensure company\'s accounts are maintained properly and accurately and comply to accounting standard and regional reporting guidelines; Verify all accounting entries and ensure monthly financial data/records are accurately recorded according to the correct accounts and according to the accounting policy; Responsible for the costing and to ensure inventory are properly maintained; Responsible to maintain proper record of the company\'s fixed assets and rental asset; Responsible to ensure the company intercompany transactions are properly maintained and reconciled; Work closely with planning team to analyse and review company performance against budget and forecast; Review accounting system, procedure and policy and propose enhancement to the system & amendment to procedure and policy, if any; Assist HOD to carry out special and ad-hoc assignments from time to time; To suggest and assist in implementing good internal control system and ensure compliance to Sarbanes Oxley Act; To liaise with the external auditors during year end audit and with internal auditor from time to time; To liaise with tax agents for yearly tax submission and review of tax computation; To liaise with any regulatory authority on corporate tax, indirect tax etc. REQUIREMENTS: Posses Bachelor in accouting or finance Professional qualification in Accountancy recognised by MIA; At least 8 to 10 years practical experience as a managerial role, preferably in MNC and 3 to 4 years\' experience in Audit Firm; Strong knowledge of Accounting and Financial Reporting Standard i.e. MFRS; Experience in dealing with auditors, tax agents and other regulatory authority; Experience in budgeting, financial forecast and projection; Good in IT and computerised accounting system.
