The role is encouraged to evolve rapidly through streamlining and automating of processes. As a Sr. Financial Accountant, you will focus on financial accounting and reporting for US GAAP close and local compliance matters.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Analyze and review data to resolve appropriate balances and activityMonth-end close activities, preparing journal entriesMonthly close analytics, variance analysis, including ad hoc reportsPerform and validate monthly account reconciliationsReview legal agreements, where applicableMaintain expertise of internal policies and regulatory compliance requirementsEnsure compliance to SOX and internal controlProvide training to internal customers and peersConnect with business partners and finance analystsProvide support to collaborators, including external auditorsCommunicating information to Finance ManagementProactively highlight challenges on financial data to Stakeholders and address risk and concernAd hoc task as assignKey Skill/Competencies

• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• SAP experience highly desirable
• Experience in accounting standard - IFRS and US GAAP
• Experience in Blackline, Ariba and Concur preferred
• Experience in data analysis & result oriented
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to act and operate independently with minimal direct supervision/direction
• Ability to work under strict deadlines in a constantly evolving environment
• Ability to think broadly and connect-the-dot on complex matters
• Ability to handle change sensitively and in a collaborative manner

Education & Experience

• Qualified accountant (CA, ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or degree in Accounting/Finance.
• 6+ years accounting or audit experience preferred
• Shared service experience preferred
• Strong knowledge on Accounting Practices
