Join our ambitious team as a Senior Financial Analyst I (Costing/Forecasting) at Micron in Batu Kawan. This role is crafted for individuals determined to make a significant impact through outstanding financial analysis and forecasting. You will develop and maintain effective relationships with global Finance Teams and Procurement Teams, ensuring flawless collaboration.

Specifically, you will:

Develop subject matter expertise in Micron Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and product flow. Gain a deep understanding of data inputs crucial for Standard Cost setting. Analyze and clarify alterations in standard cost forecasts. Aid in monthly and quarterly reviews of forecast plans and performance versus actuals. Present data summaries and recommend improvements. Evaluate and elucidate discrepancies in manufacturing on a monthly basis.

Key Skills & Proficiencies

To successfully implement our vision, you should possess:

Familiarity with Impact ECS, ERP system SAP, financial reporting tools such as TM1, Power BI, or Adaptive Insights. Dedicated approach, able to work independently and collaborate with all pertinent internal teams and external business partners. Strong analytical, comprehension, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to conceptualize complex data. Ability to meet deadlines in a rapidly changing environment. Excellent communication and collaborator coordination skills.

Qualifications and Working Experience

We are looking for candidates with:

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or their equivalent. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Costing Analyst or Financial Planning Analysis role within the Manufacturing industry. Familiarity with costing, accounting, and enterprise reporting systems.
