Job Description

We are seeking a talented and driven IT Application Developer to support the Application Manager in delivering digital initiatives aligned with our IT strategy. You will play a critical role in designing and implementing scalable, modular systems and intuitive user interfaces that integrate with robust back-office systems. Your insights will directly influence technical solutions tailored to business needs.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Design
- Responsible for the architecture and design of scalable solutions.
- Translate business and functional needs into system designs.
- Lead design and development for new and enhanced applications.
- Act as technical lead in small to medium projects.
2. Development
- Write clean, efficient code aligned with best practices.
- Conduct unit and SIT testing prior to UAT deployment.
- Support UAT and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Provide 2nd-level support, collaborating with 1st-level support teams.
3. Application Management
- Implement application strategies to align with business goals.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and scope.
- Oversee change, release, and risk management processes.
- Ensure system health, availability, and documentation (SDLC).
You will manage solutions ranging from small to high complexity, including full-scale application delivery and modernization projects. This includes new digital portals and revamps that enhance user experience for customers and partners. Collaboration across teams-Product Managers, Business Planners, Infrastructure, and Vendors-is key to your success.
Requirements
Malaysian citizen (mandatory, due to hiring quota)
Proficient in Chinese (spoken and written)
Strong understanding of application development, architecture, and SDLC
Experience in system design, coding, and incident management
Ability to work independently and collaboratively on fast-paced projects
