Role Overview

The Senior Full Stack Software Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scalable, secure, and high-quality software solutions across both front-end and back-end technologies. This role works closely with engineering leaders, architects, and system analysts to align technical execution with business and architectural goals.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop full stack solutions leveraging both SQL and NoSQL databases. Build, enhance, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. Ensure software security, performance optimisation, and proactive management of technical debt. Collaborate with Lead Engineers and Architects on system architecture, technical standards, and long-term technical strategy. Work closely with System Analysts to perform requirement analysis and translate business needs into technical solutions. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives. Contribute to best practices in development, testing, deployment, and documentation.

Technical Competencies

Strong front-end development skills using modern frameworks such as Vue.js, React.js, or Angular. Proficiency in TypeScript and modern web application technologies, including Progressive Web Apps. Solid back-end development experience in one or more of the following languages or frameworks: Java, Node.js, .NET, or Python. Good understanding of software architecture patterns, scalability, and enterprise system design. Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and agile development practices is an advantage.

Qualifications and Experience

Relevant tertiary qualification in Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Minimum 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in software development. Proven track record of successfully delivering software projects in a collaborative environment. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
