This role reports to the Regional HR Manager - APAC and will provide timely, accurate and sound HR advice to client groups across a broad spectrum of business units across all facets of the human resources function in Malaysia and other Southeast Asian countries.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key HSE and Quality responsibilities
\xc2\xb7 Supporting the implementation of the Oceaneering HSE & Quality Core Processes and HSE & Quality objectives and Action Improvement plans;
\xc2\xb7 Providing support for the Oceaneering Crisis Management Team, where required;
\xc2\xb7 Involvement in the review and approval process for corporate and site management system documentation;
\xc2\xb7 Support & participate in HSE & Quality Audits;
\xc2\xb7 Responsibility for his/her own health and safety and that of other persons affected by his/her activities;
\xc2\xb7 For managers and supervisors, actively leading HSE & Quality initiatives and demonstrating HSE & Quality leadership; and
Responsibilities and key performance indicators
Role responsibilities may include:
\xc2\xb7 Provide support to managers and employees in relation to all human resource management activities;
\xc2\xb7 Implement recruitment processes and strategies in consultation with line managers and other HR team members;
\xc2\xb7 Provide advice and guidance to line managers on matters relating to performance management;
\xc2\xb7 Interpret and provide advice to line managers, employees and payroll on legislative requirements;
\xc2\xb7 Key point of contact for all line managers, employees and 3rd part service providers in relation to immigration-related matters;
\xc2\xb7 Prepare and issue employment contracts in consultation with line managers and other HR team members;
\xc2\xb7 Support the Human Resources Manager on projects and initiatives as required;
\xc2\xb7 Review and update policies/procedures as required;

Mandatory
\xc2\xb7 Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
Desirable
\xc2\xb7 Post-graduate Qualifications in a related HR specialist field.
