About Our Client:
Our client is a structural steel specialist founded in 1979, offering full-cycle services from design and fabrication to installation of steel structures.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Preparing job descriptions, advertising vacant positions, and managing the employment process.
  • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring the HR function supports company growth and performance.
  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent.
  • Design and implement performance evaluation systems that promote accountability, career development, and high performance.
  • Identify training needs and lead initiatives to enhance employee skills, leadership capabilities, and succession planning.
  • Ensure HR policies comply with labor laws and reflect current best practices; maintain up-to-date HR documentation.
  • Support change management, culture-building, and employee engagement initiatives to strengthen organizational effectiveness.
  • Manage HR analytics and reporting to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Mentor and supervise HR team members, fostering a high-performing and collaborative HR function.
  • Provide guidance and resolution on employee relations matters, fostering a positive and compliant workplace culture.
  • Oversee salary structures, incentive programs, and benefits administration to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Ensuring that all employees are organized and satisfied in their work environment.
  • Overseeing the health and safety of all employees.
  • Implementing systematic staff development procedures.
  • Providing counselling on policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring meticulous implementation of payroll and benefits administration.
  • Communicating with staff about issues affecting their performance.
  • Ensuring accurate and proper record-keeping of employee information in electronic and digital format.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administrative or any related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources
  • Additional training/certification in Payroll Management - may be advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in handling end-to-end HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
  • Experience as a Skills Development Facilitator - may be advantageous.
  • Able to engage in meaningful negotiation and resolution.
  • Knowledge of employment legislation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and people management abilities.
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Analytical thinking and decision-making based on HR metrics and data insights.
  • Participation in ISO9001 is compulsory.
  • Any ad-hoc task assigned and directed from time to time.
Remuneration:
MYR 5,500- MYR 6,500
