Do you want to be a part of driving the transition Our People & Organization department in Port Klang, Malaysia is now looking for a Senior Human Resource Business Partner. What will you be doing Local presence with global mindset, ability to work with internal local and across regions, and external stakeholders including with authorities and offices to solve any people and organizational issues Manage reports, overview of employees, consultants, clients, and Aker Solutions visitors, ensuring compliance in any work processes Main Tasks, But Not Limited To Provide HR advise to Regional/Country/Segment leaders and line managers, highly effective team player Establish local HR routines, handbook and guidelines where needed and work closely with global business process owners and APAC VP HR to ensure all HR related documentations and processes are aligned and compliant with Global HR processes Keep informed, updated, and communicate various HR policies, procedures, laws, standards and other government regulations Ensure payroll compliance and reporting for Countries responsible are managed appropriately and compliant Provide local HR support for international assignees into the region and ensure statutory compliance matters are managed for international assignees. Work closely with Cross Border team should there be any challenges related to international assignees Escalate any non-conformance or potential actions which may have negative legal implications for the Company Responsible for overseeing recruitment requirements, workforce planning is conducted effectively to ensure readiness of the segment/organization aligned to the local/country/global processes Manage employee relation matters, including investigations, reviewing complaints, employee disciplinary actions, advising stakeholders, leaders on best approach for compliance Advise and manage if any potential terminations including redundancy actions Lead and support execution of local and global HR initiatives Responsible to oversee operational work systems, administrative and facilities management for respective segments/locations if required To live by Aker Solution values - Safeguarders, Solutioners, Changemakers and Co-creators We Think You Should Have Qualification MBA or Master in Industrial Psychology, Organizational Development or Human Resources preferred SHRM-SCP, AHRI or similar certification would be an added advantage Minimum professional Qualification/Degree in Human Resources or any other relevant field Experience 10-12 years of experience within HR, Change Management, Organizational and Competence Development holding HR advisor role with leadership Experience with labour law, organizational effectiveness mechanism, performance management Strong knowledge and understanding of corporate structure, matrix/MNC organizational processes, complexity, local employment regulations, payroll and social security requirements, tax compliance Abilities And Knowledge Acts as a Transformation Leader, HR Changemaker and Safe guarder for the assigned segment and its senior management in APAC - Malaysia / China / Kakinada (India) / Australia Good knowledge in Malaysia, China, Australia and/or India Labour laws, statutory laws preferred Ability to influence, acts as a trusted partner with Senior Leadership Team, able to handle people and organization matters tactfully and responsibly Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including business partnering, organizational development, recruitment, learning, compensation practices, employee relations, diversity, performance management Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work efficiently both within a team environment and with limited supervision Good knowledge of English language, other regional languages would be an added advantage Structured, proactive & innovative Mature, analytical, dynamic, independent and self-motivated with can do attitude More Reasons To Work With Us Professional development and career opportunities Competitive pay and benefits Healthy work-life balance Interested Contact us.
