We are seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented Senior HR Executive to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring smooth HR operations, supporting retail teams, and driving employee engagement across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in payroll, labor law compliance, and HR digital tools, combined with excellent communication and people skills.
Employee Support & Communication
Act as the first point of contact for retail staff, responding promptly to urgent HR-related issues and calls, including on weekends when necessary.
Provide guidance and solutions on employee relations, HR policies, and workplace concerns.
Build strong trust-based relationships with employees at all levels.
HR Compliance & Labor Law
Ensure compliance with local labor laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
Prepare and update HR policies, employee handbooks, and standard operating procedures to remain compliant with legal standards.
Manage employee records and ensure data confidentiality.
Payroll & HR Administration
Oversee end-to-end payroll administration with accuracy and timeliness.
Utilize Excel and Power Query for payroll processing, reporting, and analysis.
Handle statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB) and ensure timely submissions.
Maintain HR databases, ensuring accuracy of attendance, leave, and employee records.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Manage end-to-end recruitment for retail and office roles, from job posting to onboarding.
Leverage digital platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Google Forms for sourcing and screening candidates.
Support hiring managers in identifying and attracting the right talent.
Employee Engagement & Activities
Support the planning, organizing, and execution of company events, staff activities, and engagement programs.
Contribute to building a positive, team-oriented workplace culture.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably with exposure to retail operations.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and HR compliance.
Proven track record in payroll management with advanced proficiency in Excel & Power Query.
Hands-on experience with digital HR tools (Google Forms, LinkedIn, Facebook).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to respond with empathy and professionalism.
Team player with strong organizational skills, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to be contactable outside of office hours for urgent retail matters.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
