Job Description

Job Purpose

To ensure the company's operation comply with all relevant regulation requirements and standard by effectively liaising with government authorities such as CIDB,SIRIM and Customs. The role involves managing certification, permits and documentation to support smooth business post contract inbound operation.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory compliance

Ensure compliance with CIDB regulations for construction-related activities, including contractor registration and project approvals. Manage SIRIM certification processes for product and materials, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. Oversee Customs clearance procedures for imported/exported goods, ensuring accurate documentation and timely approvals.

Authority Liaison

Act as the primary point of contact with CIDB,SIRIM ,Customs and other relevant authorities. Prepare and submit application, permits and reports as required by regulatory bodies Resolve compliance issues and facilitate audits or inspections.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate records of licenses, certificates and regulatory correspondence prepare compliance reports for management and regulatory agencies

Advisory & Training

Advise internal teams on regulatory requirements and changes in legislation Conduct training session for staff on compliance procedures

Qualification & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering , Supply Chain or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in regulatory compliance, government liaison or similar roles. Strong knowledge of CIDB, SIRIM and Customs regulations. Familiarity with import/export documentation and processes.

proficiency in MS Office and regulation portals

Preferred Attributes

Experience in structural steel related products, construction, manufacturing or logistics industries.

Ability to build strong relationships with government agencies
