Job Summary:

The Senior Industrial Engineer will oversee day to day operation activities for making sure orders are met on time, that products are of the right quality and the costs are kept as low as possible. To lead manufacturing engineers on kaizen, lean manufacturing floor re-layout, ergonomic management and workplace safety etc.

He/She will work closely with production team lead, supervisor and leader in jig and fixture design, ensuring the equipments and facility in good condition and all safety procedures and policies are enforced, to ensure zero accidents or injuries in workplaces.

What You Will Do

-Work with relavant managers to provide overall direction of the fabrication, welding, manufacturing planning, maintenance, facilities and WIP/FG materials store activities for the production facility.
-Develop and co-ordinate the setup and implementation of standard operating procedures
-Planning and scheduling the processes that help minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, and resources.
-Achieving the required KPI's and Metrics while insuring product standard hours are met that will meet customers' expectations.
-Implement manufacturing improvements and action plans that will improve output, increase capacity while improving productivity and quality.
-Lead production team members in solving problems by addressing root cause and implementing corrective & preventive actions.
-To liaise and collaborate with QA department to implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives and to analyze production and quality control to detect and correct problems.
-To liaise and collaborate with engineering department for new product / new improvement during pilot build phase.
-To lead the maintenance and facility team in repairing and servicing work.

What You Will Bring

-Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Manufacturing) or equivalent.
-At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
-Knowledge in Autocad and solidworks software is an added advantage.
-Ability to use TPM and SAP system.
-Good cycle time, Lean Manufacturing and 7QC tools application skills.
-Applicants must be willing to work in Bukit Minyak Industrial Park.
-Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Engineering - Industrial or equivalent.
