Keysight's IT organization is a key contributor and enabler to Keysight's growth strategy. We are looking for strong IT Engineers to drive the organization to the next level of IT infrastructure monitoring tools and operational excellence.

Are you interested in driving the IT tools development & support for Keysight's Enterprise Infrastructure using modern technology and Agile processes?

The IT Information security Tools Engineer plays a crucial role in transforming the end-to-end IT Infrastructure monitoring footprint, ensuring toolsets that are always available and optimally tuned to maximize monitoring and visibility. The goals are to design, configure and tune tools for error free performance and transform the monitoring experience delivering configuration builds, upgrades, policies, rules, support case/ticket Management, and provide extensive subject matter expertise.

Key Responsibilities

-Work with internal IT and Information security stakeholders to gather requirements, propose, build, and provision identified monitoring and protection solutions.
-Install, configure, support, and maintain monitoring solutions.
-Manage system monitoring setup and standardization of features and usage.
-Maintain systems by keeping them tuned and compliant with company standards for optimum performance and capacity utilization.
-Maintain standards of operations, such as backups, naming standards, and configurations.
-Coordinate planned downtime and software installs of your assigned services.
-Communicate system status and coordinate maintenance activities.
-Support day-to-day operations and provide customer support.
-Support coverage for this team is 16x5, and different team members will rotate on-call coverage outside of the 16x5 windows. Shift schedules will only be required, when there are deem necessary. Deliver expertise for addressing stakeholder issues and service provider escalation.
-Monitor the environment for potential system issues and resolve them appropriately.
-Adhere to the change management process for any planned maintenance, or when potential issues are identified
- Provide training for new team members.
-Adhere to Keysight's established processes and policies.
-Continually work to improve operations.
-Adhere to established service and operational level agreements.
-Propose and implement system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system.
-Identify service improvement opportunities.
-Communicate and collaborate with peer groups (IT enterprise architects, security team, network team, etc.). The individual must possess the ability to network and interface with Global IT and business stakeholders to internalize requirements, interpreting and applying processes to deliver value to stakeholders

Job Qualifications
-Experience in any one of the infrastructure monitoring tools.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-Skills to guide and mentor the work of less experienced personnel
-You will be required to support 8-hours rotating shift. You will be entitled for shift and on-call allowance
-Communication skills. Good ability to lead and work as part of a team
-Bachelors or University Degree or equivalent in IT/Computer Science, typically 4 to 5 years of relevant experience. Formal virtual training will be provided. Candidates who do not have cloud security background but familiar with various IT security tools are welcome as we will be providing training

Technical Knowledge (experience of monitoring solutions supported)

-Infrastructure Monitoring (mainly Servers, DBs, Firewalls, Endpoints, Web Servers)
-Experience with tools configuration and break-fix support for any leading infrastructure monitoring tools such as ELK stack, Solarwinds, Cisco ISE, Panorama Firewalls, Guardicore, Trend Anti-Virus, etc.
-Very good understanding of network, server, security, and endpoint technologies
