The Third Teacher is a group of architects specialized in educational design, dedicated to planning and transforming indoor and outdoor spaces for primary and secondary schools throughout Hong Kong. From STEM rooms and libraries to entrance halls and school history galleries, we collaborate with teachers and students to co-create designs that explore new possibilities for teaching and learning, and help enhance students\' interest in various subjects. Job Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Lead the design process from concept to completion, including developing design proposals and presentations, producing 3D renderings, and creating tender and construction drawings for a variety of project types, including residential, F&B, office, and retail. \xc2\xb7 Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and contractors, to ensure project goals are met on time and on budget. \xc2\xb7 Mentor and lead a team of designers, setting goals, delegating tasks, and ensuring timely completion of project deliverables. \xc2\xb7 Coordinate with other design support members, such as graphic designers and engineers, to ensure the design is comprehensive and cohesive. \xc2\xb7 Work independently or with minimal supervision to perform assignments including conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning, and construction documentation. \xc2\xb7 Assist the Superior in preparing design-related tasks, such as research, budgeting, and vendor selection. Job Requirements: \xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field. \xc2\xb7 At least 8 years of working experience in interior design, with a focus on residential projects. \xc2\xb7 Proficient in AutoCAD, 3D Studio Max, Sketch-Up, Photoshop, Enscape, MS Office, and Power Point. \xc2\xb7 Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and construction techniques, with the ability to handle a full set of construction drawings with practical detailing. \xc2\xb7 Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills. \xc2\xb7 Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, while also being self-motivated and independent. \xc2\xb7 Strong aesthetic sensibility and passion for design. \xc2\xb7 Fluency in English and Cantonese, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
