We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our growing team.

Role Overview:

As the Senior Interior Designer / Head of Design at Godeco Services, you will lead and oversee the creative vision and execution of all interior design projects. You will be responsible for managing the design team, ensuring design excellence, and maintaining high-quality standards across all projects. This role requires a balance of creativity, strategic thinking, project management, and leadership to bring innovative design solutions to life while meeting client expectations, budgets, and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Leadership:

Define and drive the overall design direction for the company's interior projects. Develop and refine creative concepts, space plans, and design presentations. Oversee the production of detailed design drawings, specifications, and layouts. Ensure that all designs align with client objectives, project requirements, and industry trends.

Client Consultation & Relationship Management:

Lead high-level client meetings to understand their vision, goals, and preferences. High level of sales / negotiation skills Present innovative design solutions, materials, and mood boards with confidence and clarity. Provide expert guidance on design choices, materials, and finishes. Build and maintain strong client relationships to secure repeat business and referrals.

Project Oversight & Coordination:

Manage the end-to-end execution of multiple design projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints. Collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to maintain design integrity throughout the build process. Oversee material selection, procurement, and installation processes. Conduct site visits to monitor progress, provide solutions to design challenges, and ensure adherence to design specifications.

Team Leadership & Development:

Lead, mentor, and develop the interior design team, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence. Provide guidance and feedback to junior designers and ensure alignment with the company's design standards. Conduct regular team meetings, design critiques, and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Documentation & Compliance:

Oversee the preparation of detailed technical drawings, specifications, and schedules required for construction and tender submissions. Ensure all documentation adheres to industry regulations, building codes, and safety standards.

Industry Knowledge & Innovation:

Stay at the forefront of interior design trends, materials, and technologies. Attend industry events, exhibitions, and workshops to bring fresh ideas and innovations to the team. Continuously refine design processes to enhance efficiency and project outcomes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Proven experience in a senior interior design role, with a strong portfolio showcasing high-end and large-scale design projects. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, and V-Ray. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team. Exceptional space planning, material selection, and color theory expertise. Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders. Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. A keen eye for detail, innovation, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
