Senior Internal Auditor - APAC

We are currently recruiting for a US multinational company in the FMCG industry in Malaysia who are looking to hire an experienced Senior Internal Auditor, who will be responsible for Internal Audit/Risk Management matters for the APAC region. The successful candidate will be supporting and reporting directly to Senior Manager, based in KL.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in pre-audit planning and performance analysis to ensure that all relevant controls and risks are identified.
• Assist in development of audit programmes.
• Responsible for performing audit fieldwork and evaluate Company\'s compliance and controls processes are appropriate and develop improvement measures.
• Responsible for testing of controls and assessment of internal controls in accordance to the SOX 404 compliance in the APAC region.
• Perform ad-hoc duties and assignments as and when required.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Possess Bachelor\'s Degree in Finance/Accounting or professionally qualified accountant ie. CPA, CIA, CISA, IIA, or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant internal audit experience, preferably with a career foundation in Big 4 audit firm.
• Exposure to SOX is an added advantage.
• Possess strong critical thinking, interpersonal and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and communication skills in English.
• Able to travel to countries in the APAC regions as and when required.
