Job Summary :

The Senior Internal Auditor (IT) is responsible for executing IT audits, ITGC/SOX assessments, cybersecurity reviews, and system control evaluations across global technology environments. This role focuses on identifying technology risks, assessing access and security controls, reviewing ERP and enterprise application environments, and supporting digital audit automation initiatives. The position will work closely with IT, InfoSec, and business stakeholders to enhance governance and strengthen overall control maturity.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead and perform IT audits, ITGC reviews, and SOX technology control testing. Assess the effectiveness of IT security controls, access management, change management, and system configurations. Evaluate control environments across ERP systems and enterprise applications. Collaborate with IT, Information Security, and business teams to improve technology risk governance and internal control maturity. Review system documentation, interface integrity, data flows, and system architecture. Provide support to external auditors for IT-related inquiries and testing requests. Recommend enhancements in cybersecurity, IT governance, and compliance practices. Contribute to audit automation initiatives and support data-driven auditing techniques.

Job Requirement :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Information Technology (mandatory). 5-7 years of experience in IT audit, ITGC, cybersecurity, ERP audit, or SOX technology controls. Strong understanding of IT security frameworks, risk assessment methodologies, and compliance requirements. Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, and cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, or GCP. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Willingness to travel when required. Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISSP, ISO 27001, CIA, or CCA. Knowledge of data analytics tools, audit automation technologies, and IT risk frameworks (e.g., NIST, COBIT). Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity about technology. Risk and IT control-oriented mindset. Ability to translate technical risks into practical business implications. Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication abilities.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
