Position Title: Senior IT Engineer

Tenure: Permanent

Remuneration: RM 6,000- RM 10,000

Responsibilities

Reporting Structure and Management Scope

• Reporting Structure: Directly receives instructions and supervision from the department head and department supervisor. For important matters, consult with the section chief and implement upon approval.

• Management Scope: company computers, networks, and associated devices including printers

Daily Business Functions

• Responsible for the maintenance and management of internal network communication equipment within the company (IT room hardware equipment maintenance and management, wireless AP, VPN, internet behavior management AC, WOC, etc.).

• Manages external communication equipment and various business system management within the company (video conferences, telephone conferences, web conferences).

• Handles software installation, debugging, maintenance, and repair of internal computer equipment within the company (desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, projectors, etc.).

• Manages various network services for the company: installation, configuration, opening, modification of internet routing strategies, VPN, DHCP, and various applications and permissions.

• Handles external liaison services for the company: creates email accounts, internet access, and grants permissions.

• Responsible for the maintenance and repair of the company\'s internal weak current systems and handles troubleshooting (telephone, network, access control, and monitoring).

• Manages the installation and configuration of operating systems for various customer

\xc2\xb7 PCs within the company (computer name, IP allocation, installation of basic office software), and performs virus and Trojan prevention, detection, and removal.

• Analyzes, detects, handles, and repairs various software and hardware faults within the company, including the installation, debugging, and repair of various office equipment (maintenance and record keeping).

• Assists the company leadership in IT asset management (employee IT issuance, return, and scrapping upon entry or departure).

• Conducts regular inspections of IT room equipment.

• Coordinates with construction unit IT room construction personnel in various operations.

• Proactively liaises with various relevant departments for business contacts and information communication.

• Coordinates with the equipment department for the inventory and maintenance of computer equipment.

• Actively safeguards the company\'s legal rights and appropriately mediates and handles various business disputes

Skills, Qualifications, and Personal Qualities

• Educational background in a relevant major with at least a college degree.

• Possesses practical work experience of at least 3 years in a related position.

• Familiar with relevant national and local government regulations and policies.

• Demonstrates effective internal and external coordination, social and public relations, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Exhibits good cultural literacy and a dignified appearance.

• Proficient in Mandarin, with clear articulation and excellent language expression.

• Training and Orientation Required

• Training in relevant business skills.

• Training on company-related administrative management, 6S, and ISO procedural documents.

• Improvement training in computer-related business skills.

• Training to enhance proficiency in foreign languages.
