a. Key Responsibilities i. Actively contribute towards all backend development best practices across the Engineering function ii. Collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to create the best digital banking user experience iii. Actively participate in the development process from definition to deployment iv. Codify best practices in the form of reusable patterns, templates and codebases v. Build scalable and secure microservices for the digital bank to realize its vision of being the most efficient and secure digital banking platform vi. Write the best code in terms of application performance and security vii. Monitor and manage the application health of services under the care of your team viii. Take on challenging tasks as needed with an eagerness to develop skills in new areas ix. Design, evaluate, and communicate solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders b. Requirement i. Bachelors in Computer Science or related fields ii. More than 2 years of software development experience for backend engineer role iii. More than 5 years of software development experience for senior backend engineer role iv. Proven experience in software development using modern software architecture and design pattern v. Experience with RDBMS (Postgres) and NoSQL (MongoDB) vi. Experience with domain-driven microservices and event-driven architectures is a plus Appendix 1- Qualification Requirement vii. Experience with Agile methodology or similar lean startup approach to building software viii. Familiarity with Docker/Container, Container Orchestration (Kubernetes) is a plus ix. Familiarity with CI/CD platforms (Github Actions, Gitlab CI) x. Understand and implement secure coding best practices; familiarity with OWASP Top 10 xi. Familiarity with modern cloud service provider such as AWS, Azure, and GCP is a plus xii. An entrepreneurial attitude with ability to work in a fast paced, flexible environment on multiple projects xiii. An ideal candidate for this role will have good experiences in developing highly scalable, complex micro-services on an enterprise level.
