Job Description

Responsibilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop detailed interface specifications and design for solution to cater for business needs with scalability and reusability in mind. \xe2\x80\xa2 Collaborate with other departments to perform holistic impact assessment for any changes. \xe2\x80\xa2 Support entire project lifecycle from project initiation, requirements gathering, design, development, SIT, UAT, ORT and deployment to Production environment. \xe2\x80\xa2 Review deliverables as well as make corrections when necessary. \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide mentorship and guidance to peers and reporting staffs, if any. Requirements: 1. Above 3 years of experience in Telecom OSS and BSS domains 2. Above 6 years of experience in Java/J2EE development and architectures 3. Hands on programming knowledge in the following frameworks, concepts & languages: \xe2\x80\xa2 Java EE, Web Services, Java Servlets, JSP, Struts, Spring MVC, JSTL, JavaScript, Hibernate, Wicket, XML, Multithreading 4. Hands on development experience using the following: \xe2\x80\xa2 Eclipse, SVN, Ant, Tomcat, Apache Web Server, Maven, JUnit 5. Hands on knowledge on the following application/database platforms: \xe2\x80\xa2 Application servers such as JBOSS or others \xe2\x80\xa2 Database servers such as MySQL, Oracle or others 6. Must understand telecom and IT industry frameworks such as: \xe2\x80\xa2 Enhanced Telecommunications Operations Map (eTOM) \xe2\x80\xa2 Telecommunications Applications Map (TAM) \xe2\x80\xa2 Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) 7. Technical and security certifications a plus
