We are looking for a
Senior Java Developer
with strong experience inJava, Web Services, and SQL
to join our technology team. The candidate will work as anIndividual Contributor
, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services that support business-critical applications.Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain
Java-based backend applications
Build and consumeREST/SOAP web services
Write efficient, reusable, and testable code usingJava and Spring framework
Develop and optimizeSQL queries, stored procedures, and database interactions
Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of applications Participate incode reviews
, debugging, and performance tuning Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and other development teams Follow best practices forcoding standards, documentation, and version control
Support production issues and provide timely resolutionsMandatory Skills
5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development
Strong knowledge ofCore Java, OOPs concepts, Collections, Multithreading
Experience inWeb Services (REST and/or SOAP)
Proficient inSpring / Spring Boot / Spring MVC
StrongSQL skills
(Oracle / MySQL / PostgreSQL or similar) Experience withJPA / Hibernate
Good understanding ofexception handling, logging, and security concepts
Experience withGit / SVN
and build tools likeMaven / Gradle
Good to Have
Exposure to
microservices architecture
Experience withLinux/Unix environments
Knowledge ofperformance tuning
andmemory management
Familiarity withCI/CD pipelines
Domain experience inBFSI / Capital Markets
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM6,037.26 - RM11,000.00 per month
