The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java Web-Based Applications and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.\xe2\x80\x8bYour responsibilitiesTurn mock-ups into functional, responsive web pages, ensuring precise navigation and adherence to specifications.Develop and implement web-based systems that meet both system specifications and user requirements, ensuring a high level of quality.Develop and complete business application coding within the project timeline, ensuring adherence to schedule.Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of technical designs and specifications, ensuring alignment with business requirements and project standards.Ensure all frontline development activities comply with the established System Development Guidelines and Standards.Work closely with frontend and backend developers to ensure smooth collaboration throughout the entire software development lifecycle.Apply essential software development practices, including testing, troubleshooting, and version control (SVN).\xe2\x80\x8bYou will haveA Bachelor\'s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, or a related field.Experience: At least 5 years of experience in Java Web-Based Applications development.Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills with attention to detail.Communication: Proficient in verbal and written English communication.Adaptability: Ability to multi-task, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines.Methodologies: Familiarity with Waterfall SDLC and Agile development under the SCRUM methodology.Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Leadership: Experience in leading a team, guiding, and reviewing the code of Java developers is an added advantage.Industry Experience: Experience in the Insurance Industry is an added advantage.\xe2\x80\x8bTechnical SkillsetStrong knowledge of J2EE, Jasper, Servlet, and JavaScript for web application development.Experience using data interchange formats such as XML or JSON.Ability to create reusable and testable modules and pages.Frameworks: Experience in Springboot and Angular is an added advantage.Build Tools: Experience with Maven Build scripts is an added advantage.DevOps Tools: Experience with DevOps tools like Jira and Jenkins is an added advantage.Backend Development: Experience with Java and Oracle databases is an added advantage.Industry Applications: Experience with Insurance Industry applications is an added advantage.\xe2\x80\x8bPlease Note: This role is open only to Malaysian citizens.\xe2\x80\x8bIf you are seeking to join a collaborative team and are prepared to assume significant team responsibilities, this opportunity is tailored for you.
