Looking for an opportunity to grow with an expanding financial institution? My client - a long established bank, is looking for a highly skilled

Java developer

to join their newly formed software development team to help build and maintain software that provides customers with effortless access to financial services.

In this role, you will be using your knowledge on Java to ensure customers have a smooth user experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Thrive in a fast-paced, high volume workload environment to deliver solutions to users.

2. Work with domestic and international teams to execute updates quickly and provide services in a fast-moving industry.

3. Take initiatives to help the team to meet the team's goals and reduce overall workload.

4. Collaborate with other departmental teams to meet the user story acceptance standard.

5. Be receptive to customer feedback and be able to make continuous improvements.

6. Work with the team to deliver working software within designated deadline.

Essentials

Strong communication skills, and experienced working in fast-paced working culture.

Proven technical development experience in Java.

Proactive personality.

Experienced in:

middleware messaging technologies

design patterns

data structures

algorithms

OOP concepts

DevOps

TDD
