Senior Java Engineer (High-Performance Systems)

Location:

Kuala Lumpur (Hybrid - 3 days Office / 2 days Remote)

The Challenge

Extreme Reliability:

Develop and maintain Java-based back-ends that require 99.99% uptime.

Concurrency at Scale:

Manage high-concurrency traffic patterns (multi-threading is not a buzzword here; it's a daily requirement).

Real-time Processing:

Build event-driven architectures using Kafka or RabbitMQ to ensure real-time game state synchronization.

Security & Integrity:

Implement rigorous server-side validation to prevent fraud and ensure game fairness.

Technical Requirement

Expert Java Knowledge:

Deep experience with Java 17+, Spring Boot, and the Spring ecosystem.

High-Performance SQL:

Advanced optimization of MySQL or PostgreSQL (indexing, query tuning, and partitioning).

Distributed Systems:

Proven experience with Microservices, Redis caching, and Docker/Kubernetes.

The "Crisis" Mindset:

Ability to debug complex production issues under time pressure.

Architecture:

Knowledge of Design Patterns (Saga, CQRS) to handle distributed transactions.
