An exciting Senior Key Account Executive (FMCG) job has just become available at one of the most respected FMCG firms based in Malaysia, reporting directly to the Key Account Manager.

About the Senior Key Account Executive (FMCG) Role:
In this business critical role you will be responsible for managing key accounts and developing and maintaining long-term relationships with customers. This role involves working closely with customers to understand their needs and requirements and ensuring that the company\'s products are meeting those needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, ensuring that their needs are being met and that they are satisfied with the company\'s products and services
  • Work closely with the sales team to develop sales strategies that meet the needs of key customers
  • Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing strategies that are tailored to key customers
  • Analyse market trends and identify new opportunities for growth
  • Conduct market research to gather information on customers and competitors
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies that are competitive and profitable
  • Manage and maintain customer databases and sales records
  • Provide regular reports to the sales manager on sales performance and key account management activities
  • Monitor competitor activity and developing strategies to counteract any threats
To succeed in the Senior Key Account Executive (FMCG) job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and closely with sales team to ensure company\'s sales goals are being met.

Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in business administration, sales or marketing
  • Minimum of three years in key account management in FMCG
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other sales-related software
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
