Overview :

The Hyper Converged Product Team has an immediate opening for the Senior Hardware

Design Engineer to look after the hyper converged products hardware design from

product definition, design implementation, validation all the way to production, partner

with Celestica marketing team, supply chain team and customers at different sites in the

world.

Job Requirement :

Degree or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer

Engineering or Computer Science

A minimum of 8+ year hands on EE and system architect design experience, better

on enterprise product development (e.g. server, storage, networking);

Experience on Intel x86 platform design;

Wide knowledge on system architecture design;

Strong debugging and testing skills;

Strong organization and planning skills;

Excellent communication skills

Job Responsibilities :

Lead and drive the end to end execution of hyperconverged hardware projects from

product definition to design implementation, validation and all the way to production.

Release qualified and flawless product design to manufacturing;

Focus on next generation Intel Xeon server product design. Interfacing with

marketing team, propose product solutions and architecture, implement product

specifications and work with supply chain team on product cost reduction, be responsible for the daily operation of the projects;

Co-work with design platform teams: Software, SI, Layout, Mechanical and Thermal.

Lead issue debug and troubleshooting;

Review NPI test plan and test report, define product safety, compliance etc requirements;

Contribute to NPI to MP transition.
