Job Description

Job Responsibilities: -



Leasing Strategy & Planning - Develop and implement retail leasing strategies that align with the company's vision, project positioning, and financial targets. Tenant Mix & Positioning - Curate an optimal tenant mix that enhances the vibrancy, attractiveness, and sustainability of the retail development. Business Development & Negotiation - Identify, engage, and secure suitable tenants through strong market networks and proactive negotiations to maximize occupancy and rental income. Market Research & Analysis - Conduct research on market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activities to inform leasing strategies and ensure competitiveness. Stakeholder Management - Build and maintain strong relationships with key tenants, business partners, real estate agents, and industry stakeholders to strengthen the leasing pipeline. Lease Administration & Compliance - Oversee lease documentation, ensure timely renewals, and ensure compliance with legal, financial, and operational requirements. Retail Performance Monitoring - Track and analyze sales performance of tenants, footfall, and overall retail center performance; recommend strategies to enhance revenue generation. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with project development, marketing, property management, and finance teams to ensure seamless project delivery and tenant support. Budgeting & Revenue Optimization - Prepare leasing budgets, monitor rental collections, and drive initiatives to optimize revenue and reduce vacancy costs. Team Leadership & Development - Lead, coach, and develop the leasing team to achieve business objectives while fostering a high-performance culture.

Qualifications & Skills:



Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Marketing, or related field. 8+ years of experience in commercial or retail leasing, with leadership exposure. Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Knowledge of tenancy laws, leasing documentation, and market dynamics. Proactive, analytical, and results-driven mindset.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM12,000.00 - RM18,000.00 per month
