About the Role In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the optimization and oversight of our entire logistics operation, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective flow of goods throughout the supply chain. Responsibilities Management: Lead the complete logistics cycle, from inbound transportation and warehousing to outbound delivery and customer service. Strategy: Develop and execute logistics strategies that optimize efficiency, minimize costs, and enhance on-time delivery rates. Warehouse Oversight: Oversee and manage warehouse operations, encompassing inventory management, order fulfillment, and quality control. Vendor Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with transportation providers and other relevant vendors. Systems Implementation: Implement and maintain current logistics software and systems including third party warehouse\'s software. Cost Reduction: Identify and propose cost-saving initiatives across the logistics function to stakeholders. Industry Research: Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in logistics. Qualifications Minimum SPM. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a logistics role, preferably within a similar industry. Demonstrated success in improving efficiency and reducing costs in a logistics environment. Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant logistics software. Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Ability to solve ad-hoc logistical difficulties. Able to communicate in Mandarin, English, Malay. (Reading, Speaking & Writing)
