Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Maintenance Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing maintenance activities across the factory, including Production and Packing areas. Monitor daily maintenance schedules, work orders, and preventive maintenance plans to ensure timely completion. Supervise technicians and contractors during repair, servicing, and installation works. Perform equipment troubleshooting, basic repair analysis, and coordinate with suppliers or service providers for technical issues. Prepare and maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and equipment history records. Support the implementation and improvement of maintenance SOPs, preventive maintenance programs, and spare parts management systems. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with food safety, ISO, and workplace safety requirements. Assist in preparing maintenance cost reports, budget tracking, and cost-saving initiatives. Manage spare parts stock -- verify usage, reorder levels, and support procurement coordination. Participate in internal and external audits related to maintenance and facilities. Provide training and technical guidance to junior maintenance staff. Support emergency breakdown response and corrective actions to minimize downtime. Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager or Factory Management.

Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering (or equivalent). Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in plant or equipment maintenance (preferably in a food manufacturing environment). Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance systems, mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, and spare parts management. Familiar with ISO 22000, HACCP, or other relevant food safety standards. Good leadership, planning, and reporting skills. Able to work independently under minimal supervision and handle multiple priorities. Willing to respond to emergency breakdowns or support maintenance during off-hours when required.
