:
-Department Planning
-Direct strategic accounting and financial management strategies with consultant with senior management.
-Confer with organisation officials and staff members to discuss issues, coordinate activities and resolve problems
Supervise accounting activities in order to ensure continuing operations, to maximize returns on investments, and to increase productivity.
-Review and monitor the accuracy and timeliness of periodic accounts reports and financial statements to ensure compliance with company guidelines as well as statutory requirements.
-Plan and evaluate tax liabilities under existing and proposed legislations and make sure submission on time.
-Oversee the implementation of finance and accounting initiatives.
-Review collection reports to determine the status of collections and the amounts of outstanding balances for cash flow management.
-Monitor and analyse monthly operating results against budget for the business unit.
-Enforce accounting policies and develop appropriate monitoring plans.
-Develop processes and systems for the efficient capture of revenue from stakeholder groups.
-Inform General Manager (Accounts & Finance) of all financial matters, including but not limited to cash flow, profit/loss, return on equity, balance sheet figures, and major budget variance.
-Prepare budget to actual comparisons and variance analysis for the Company's operations and highlight those that vary from projections
-Establish and maintain relationships with individual and business customers especially auditors, tax agents, bankers, relevant authorities and joint venture partners
-Coach and motivate staff; identify learning opportunities for staff development and advancement; track work progress and conduct performance reviews in order to build staff competence on the job and encourage motivation, pro-activeness and job satisfaction of all direct reports.
-Adhere to relevant policies, procedures and work instructions as defined in the Company's Quality System to demonstrate Risk Base Thinking and Performance Base Approach in all undertaking and to ensure achievement of intended results
-Adhere to relevant policies, procedures and work instructions as defined in the Company's Health, Safety and Environment Requirement to demonstrate Risk Base Thinking and Performance Base Approach in all undertaking and to ensure achievement of intended results.
