Senior Manager / Director - Production

Duties and responsibilities

• Manages or assists with managing various production activities (e.g., assembly, material forming/shaping, processing, treating, or packaging, etc.) including:
• Planning, directing, and monitoring production to meet established specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards.
• Liaising with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply & Logistics, Sales, etc. as input to developing production schedules and allocating labor/capital resources.
• Planning, prioritizing, and managing production line maintenance/downtime to minimize disruptions.
• The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.

Professional competencies

• Possess Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/ Automation Engineering/ Any other engineering field.
• Minimum 10 years of working experience in manufacturing, and lean concept.
• Strong in people communication/ management skills (motivation, conflict and disciplinary management).
• Able to drive daily operations KPIs (SQCD+) with a team of 700 employees (inclusive 5 direct reports).
• Good experience in talent & succession planning.
• Preferably in having strong cross department / division cooperation skill.
• Preferably in having good exposure in Manufacturing/ Metal industry.
