Senior Manager, Epitaxy Design & Process

What we expect


Strategy

Drives product performance with focus on epitaxy in Malaysia Shapes the future of our fabs by epitaxy design-to-costs, epitaxy design-to manufacturing. Drives efficient global cooperation and maintain intensive regular contact with internal/external contributors and customers. Benchmark globally (focus Asia) and recognize future developments (technology, market, demand, etc.).

Leadership & communication

Guide epitaxy team Malaysia to most efficient work and in-time delivery of committed performance. Ensures efficient communication with all relevant stakeholders in operations and technology.

People development

Guides team to headcount efficiency and act as change manager Develops trainings concepts and continuous improvements of local epitaxy expert capabilities achieve leading edge epi competence. Manages interfaced and drive most efficient business processes for collaboration, simultaneous engineering and transfer to production. Networking and recruiting of future experts and managers. Contributes to succession planning Analyzes information, knowledge and experience, and makes learnings available. Seizes opportunities to learn from others and to exchange experience

Project management

Guide project managers within own team Lead of epi projects with strongest technical challenge (taskforces, customer cooperations, new tool platforms etc.)

Finances

Cost center responsibility for epitaxy Malaysia, budget planning, tracking and trigger corrective actions.
Who we are looking for

Master/ Diploma Degree, preferable: academic qualification like PhD More than 5 years of professional work as key expert and/or project manager in epitaxy More than 3 years of project management More than 3 years' experience in leading multicultural teams Ability to coordinate teamwork internationally, and willing to relocate to Malaysia (Kulim, Kedah)
