Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:Serves as Teleport\xe2\x80\x99s main point of contact for all freighter fleet-related engineering matters including but not limited to AOG events, scheduled maintenance planning and aircraft reliability tracking.Provides subject matter expertise to identify crucial factors impeding overall aircraft reliability and provide suitable recommendations to ensure maximum uptime.Communicates closely with Airline Maintenance Operations Control to ensure Defer Defect Monitoring Log (DDML) items are resolved reasonably ahead of expiry.Communicates closely with Airline Maintenance Operations Control during AOG events to accurately determine entry to service timelines and minimize network and scheduling disruptions.Communicates with Warehouse and Component Services to ensure adequate stocking of both Minimum Equipment List (MEL) and Recommended Spare Parts List (RSPL).Reviews planned and unplanned maintenance expense budgets including but not limited to Power-by-the-Hour (PBH), Power-by-the-Cycle (PBC) programs, pooling investment chargebacks and over-and-above costs where applicable.Serve as Teleport\xe2\x80\x99s lead liaison for relationship-building with relevant OEMs and vendors.REQUIREMENTSThese are minimum-requirement skills and a \xe2\x80\x98must-have\xe2\x80\x99 for the role: (If any, otherwise you can skip)Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 10 years of experience in aircraft engineering or maintenance management.In-depth knowledge of aircraft maintenance processes, reliability tracking, and budget management.Excellent communication and coordination skills.Ability to work under pressure and handle AOG situations effectively.Experience with freighter fleet operations.Familiarity with Airline Maintenance Operations Control and related systems.Strong relationship-building skills with OEMs and vendors.At Teleport, we\xe2\x80\x99re all about creating a diverse and inclusive team where everyone feels valued.
