Must possess a Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or related field
At least 7 years of working experience in IT management capacity

Requirements:
Demonstrate strong leadership in managing teams by communicating expectations, setting priorities, and motivating staff, especially during peak project delivery or incident management
Develop, review, and execute IT strategies that align with the institution's vision, ensuring adequate resources and staff capabilities to achieve strategic goals
Drive IT modernization, digital transformation initiatives by leveraging cloud technologies, automation and industry best practices to enhance operational efficiency and innovation
Manage ERP refresh projects and other mission-critical technology deployments in collaboration with business stakeholders and external vendors to meet institutional objectives and ensure successful implementation
Manage a portfolio of ongoing projects and continuous improvements that support sustainable growth and alignment with the IT transformation roadmap
Oversee IT operations, including Service Desk and infrastructure management and support services to deliver a secure, reliable and user-centric IT service
Lead the design, configuration, installation, and maintenance of networks, hardware, software, cloud systems and telecommunication systems to meet the institution digital needs
Manage and upkeep of computer and virtual labs and ensuring hardware/software meet the educational and user requirements
Promote a strong customer service culture within the IT team by identifying and implementing digital technologies that enhance student and staff experience
Analyze IT challenges from multiple perspectives and recommend practical and cost-effective solutions that utilize automation and digital tools where appropriate
Assist in managing budgets, procurement, and vendor relations in line with institutional priorities and digital transformation goals in preparing business cases and specifications for investment as needed
Implement IT policies and cybersecurity frameworks to safeguard institutional data in ensure regulatory compliance (including Malaysian PDPA) and support ongoing digital initiatives under the guidance of senior leadership team
Support IT risk management, internal and external audits, security compliance and disaster recovery planning and execution in ensuring continuous improvement in these areas
Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning and security awareness across the IT organization
Communicate and collaborate effectively with academic staff, administrative departments, external vendors and leadership to ensure alignment and successful project delivery
