Job Description
:
: * Strategize & drive the formulation and implementation of the overall Intellectual Property (IP) management system, policies, processes and guidelines.
- Manage the IP budget (patent filing, maintenance, professional services) including budget forecasting.
- Advise on global patent and IP strategy and related licensing or commercialization matters.
- Oversee the protection of all IPs in conformance with IP Policy & business requirements including freedom-to-operate and competitive patent landscape assessment.
- Effectively communicate IP trends and recommend strategy to senior business leadership.
- Any professional qualification or Advanced Degree in Intellectual Property is preferred.
- Experience in Intellectual Property (IP) management, IP strategy and commercialization, business planning, strategic planning, portfolio management.
- Experience in correlating IP and licensing strategy with business strategy.
- Experience with advising international businesses with IP issues, including advice and establishment of policies and procedures to protect IP assets.
- Experience with IP transactions, assignments, licensing, and joint venture arrangements as well as cross internal business licenses/arrangements.
- Strong interpersonal skill to collaborate, connect, garner team unity, effective communication skills ensure successful engagement with key stakeholders of various levels.
- Possess analytical thinking skills.
