Job Description

• Responsible for managing the audit engagements from planning, execution, reporting and subsequent status follow-up of the Lahad Datu and Sandakan Audit Office.
• Timely quarterly and annual audit reporting to the Head Office.
• Well verse with governance, risk management and internal control process of the Oil Pam Plantation Industry.
• Smooth day-to-day running of the Lahad Datu and Sandakan Audit Office.
• Conduct ad-hoc assignments, including special review and investigations, as and when the need arises and/or requested by the Management.

Job requirements:

• Candidates must posses at least a Bachelor\'s Degree in Accountancy and/or Professional Accounting/Auditing Qualifications. CIA qualification would be desirable.
• Minimum of 15 years internal audit experience, preferably in the Oil Palm Plantation or related sectors (with at least 5 years in the Manager capacity)
• Added advantage if with exposure in SAP system.
• Possess strong leadership and good interpersonal/communication skills and able to work under pressure to meet reporting deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Willingness to travel and stay in challenging locations/working environments.
