Our client\'s primary business is to drive tourism sector value for the country through property development and construction services.Responsibilities:

• Support the HOD in the overall management of Internal Audit Department especially development of Annual Audit Plan, resource planning, preparation for ARC & meetings, coordination with external parties such as co-source IA partners & external consultants, budget preparation & monitoring and other administrative tasks.
• Develop close relationship and engage with stakeholders (Senior Management and OU personnel).
• Increase awareness on risk, governance and controls.
• Advise on key initiatives undertaken by the Group, including the provision of counsel and facilitation, as required.
• Keep departmental expenses within budget.
• Manage the completion of audit engagements (as per the annual audit plan) within established quality standards and recovery (time cost and expenses)
• Implement robust IA methodologies for continuous improvement.
• Motivate and develop internal audit talents among department staff through coaching and training
• Attend relevant training programme to enhance skillsets in fulfilling roles and responsibilities

• Recognised degree or professional qualification in Accounting / Finance / Economics/Business or related disciplines.
• Preferably, member of a professional accounting body such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent.
• Post graduate qualification or professional certification from IIA or equivalent will be an added advantage.
• At least 10 years\' work experience gained in a Big 4 and/or consulting firm or a leading commercial organisation. Not from GLC entities.
• Experience in the construction/ hospitality/ leisure/ tourism industry will be an added advantage.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, highly independent and result oriented with excellent planning and organising skills.
• Driving change and performance with effective decision making and leadership skills.
• Initiative, excellent interpersonal, analytical, communication and presentation skills.
